Data Deletion
How to delete your connected Facebook Page and the data Picasso stores for it
What Picasso stores
When you connect a Facebook Page, Picasso stores the Page ID and name, the Page access token Facebook issues to Picasso, the ID of the Facebook account that authorized the connection, and a record of the posts you published to that Page through Picasso.
Delete it yourself in Picasso
- Sign in to Picasso and open Channels from the dashboard menu.
- On the Facebook Page card, click the Disconnect channel (unplug) icon and confirm. Picasso stops publishing to the Page.
- Click the Delete channel permanently (trash) icon and confirm. This permanently removes the Page's stored access token, the Facebook account ID, and the publishing records for that Page from Picasso.
Posts already published on your Facebook Page stay on Facebook. Delete them on Facebook if you want them removed.
Revoke Picasso's access on Facebook
You can also remove Picasso on Facebook under Settings & privacy > Settings > Business integrations. This revokes Picasso's access to your Page. To remove the data Picasso has already stored, also delete the channel in Picasso as described above, or contact us.
Ask us to delete it
If you can no longer sign in, or you want your account and its data deleted, contact us with your Facebook Page name and the email you used for Picasso. We will confirm by reply when deletion is complete.
